Description:
A very impressive, large jug from an unidentified pottery on Tyneside. Featuring the classic 'west view' of the Wear Bridge transfer below the spout, a transfer of a gunship in full sail on one side and seafaring verse on the other. Richly decorated in pink lustre.
Circa 1860-70
Approx - 9.5 inches (240mm) tall.
In very good condition throughout with a minor chip to there spout and a firing crack below the neck.
